Hand-Crank Emergency Siren

Hand-Crank Emergency Siren

Power-free hand-crank siren for forest alerts and emergency notification — loud, reliable, always ready.

The forest emergency hand-crank alarm is a core passive warning device in forest firefighting and field emergency systems, specially optimized for power-free and complex environments such as mountain forests and remote forest areas.

- Pure mechanical, power-free drive: Uses a precision gear speed increaser and siren wheel resonance structure. No batteries or external power needed; stable sound is produced purely by hand cranking, completely eliminating power dependence. It operates reliably even during power outages in extreme disasters.

- High decibel, strong penetration: Standard hand-cranking speed (50-80 rpm) outputs 110-120 dB alarm sound. The sound waves have strong penetration, able to cut through noisy environments like jungles, wind, and rain. Effective propagation radius is 500-2000 meters, enabling large-area personnel warning and distress signaling.

- Lightweight and portable design: The main body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, with the entire unit weighing only 1-1.5 kg. Compact size, equipped with a hand grip and lanyard hole. Can be hand-held, carried in a backpack, or fixed-mounted. A single person can easily carry and operate it.

- Rugged and durable: The housing is waterproof, dustproof, and impact-resistant, suitable for dragging use in harsh environments like rocky or steep terrain. The movement uses copper/steel alloy gears, wear-resistant and rust-proof, with low failure rate. Normal service life is 5-8 years.

- Wide temperature adaptability: Operating temperature from -40°C to +70°C. Works normally in extremely cold forest areas and near high-temperature fire scenes; no jamming at low temperatures and no deformation at high temperatures.

- Controllable sound window design: Equipped with a sound window shutter plate for quick opening/closing of sound or adjusting volume to meet different warning signal transmission needs.

Fully complies with emergency rescue equipment standards. It is an essential warning device for forest fire patrol, forest area duty, field operations, and disaster emergency evacuation.

Fully complies with emergency rescue equipment standards. It is an essential warning device for forest fire patrol, forest area duty, field operations, and disaster emergency evacuation.

Instructions and operating procedures: Before use - Inspect the exterior: The housing should have no damage or deformation, and the crank handle should rotate smoothly without jamming or abnormal noise. - Confirm the sound window shutter is open to ensure sound can be emitted normally. - Choose an open, elevated location for operation to reduce obstruction from trees and terrain and increase transmission distance. Operating steps - Hand-held operation: Grip the handle firmly with your left hand and the crank with your right hand, keeping your body stable. - Uniform hand cranking: Turn the crank handle clockwise at a uniform speed of 50-80 rpm to ensure a stable, high-decibel sound. - Signal control: To pause the alarm, stop cranking and close the sound window shutter; to continue alarming, maintain uniform cranking. - Fixed installation: When mounting on a bracket, tighten the fixing screws to ensure the unit is stable before cranking. After-use maintenance - After use, wipe off dust and dirt from the surface, keeping it dry and clean. - Regularly check the flexibility of the crank handle and gears; add a small amount of special lubricating oil monthly (avoid over-lubrication). - Check housing screws and sound window shutter to ensure they are not loose or damaged. - Store in a dry, ventilated, room-temperature environment, away from acids, alkalis, and corrosive chemicals. Safety precautions - Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the sound window or the interior of the movement to prevent injury from the high-speed siren wheel or equipment damage. - Minors must not operate alone; keep away from people's heads when in use to avoid hearing damage from loud sounds. - Do not crank with excessive force or speed to prevent gear damage or movement failure. - Do not use improperly in flammable or explosive environments (this product uses mechanical friction structure, no electrical sparks). - Do not misuse as a toy or entertainment tool; use only for emergency alarm. - If jamming, abnormal noise, gear looseness, or other faults occur, stop using immediately and have it professionally inspected. Applications

1. Forest fire prevention warning: When patrols or lookout posts spot a fire, quickly crank to sound the alarm, notifying nearby personnel to evacuate and firefighting teams to assemble. 2. Field emergency distress: When lost, injured, or missing in the forest, continuously crank to sound the alarm to guide rescue personnel in locating you. 3. Personnel evacuation in forest areas: When disasters such as fires or mudslides occur, provide large-area warning to organize rapid evacuation of people from dangerous areas. 4. Power-free location warning: Emergency alarm for remote forest farms, outposts, mines, reservoirs, and other areas without power. 5. Fire drill training: For routine forest fire drills and safety training, simulate danger scenarios for hands-on warning practice. 6. Multi-scenario versatility: Suitable for flood control and disaster relief, geological disasters, civil defense emergencies, oil fields and mining areas, outdoor camping, and other emergency alarm scenarios.
