Forest Firefighting Suit

Forest Firefighting Suit

Flame-retardant firefighting suit (jacket + trousers) for wildland operations; custom printing available.

Forest firefighting suit (forest fire protective clothing) is a specialized standard protective equipment developed for forest fire rescue personnel. It complies with the recommended standard GB/T 33536-2017 "Protective Clothing - Forest Fire Protective Clothing". Unlike urban firefighting suits, it is fully adapted to the complex working environment of wild forest operations - high-temperature flames, dense thorns, complex terrain, humid climate, and long-duration outdoor operations. It is the core essential equipment for forest firefighting teams in fire suppression, patrol duty, and emergency rescue.

The product features a two-layer composite structure (outer layer + comfort layer), unlike the four-layer design of urban firefighting suits. While ensuring core flame-retardant and thermal insulation performance, it achieves lightweight, high breathability, and strong abrasion resistance, suitable for long-duration field hiking, traversing, and firefighting operations.

Outer layer: Made of 100% meta-aramid or polyimide blended flame-retardant fabric (unit area mass ≤210g/m²). It is flame-retardant, with no melting drips or shrinkage when exposed to flame. Afterflame time ≤1s, afterglow time ≤1s, and char length ≤50mm (still compliant after 50 washes). Thermal protective coefficient TPP ≥250kW·s/m², providing protection against high temperature, thermal radiation, and flame attack in forest fire scenes. It also features abrasion resistance and tear resistance: breaking strength ≥1100N (warp) and ≥1000N (weft), tear strength ≥100N, capable of withstanding repeated scraping and abrasion from thorns, branches, and rocks in the forest without easy damage.

Comfort layer: Made of flame-retardant viscose and aramid blended fabric, moisture-wicking, breathable, skin-friendly, and non-irritating. Combined with the three-dimensional microporous design of the outer layer, it achieves excellent waterproof and breathable performance, blocking outdoor dew and rain from penetrating while quickly expelling internal moisture, preventing stuffiness and discomfort during prolonged wear.

The overall design is a separate type (jacket + trousers) in standard orange-red (Pantone 16-1462TPX), which is highly visible against the green forest background, facilitating teammate identification and rescue positioning. The jacket features a double-collar design (stand-up collar / lapel collar): the stand-up collar together with the helmet provides seamless neck protection, while the lapel collar suits daily patrol duties. The shoulders are reinforced with thickened thermal insulation to reduce pressure and wear from carrying blowers and tools. The front placket uses flame-retardant brass zipper and Velcro double sealing, and the waist has a drawcord for adjustable fit. 360° flame-retardant reflective strips are sewn on the front, back, sleeves, and trouser legs, providing excellent visibility at night, in heavy smoke, and in the forest. The jacket is equipped with multi-dimensional pockets (chest pockets, hem patch pockets, and arm pockets) with large flaps and drainage holes, allowing quick opening and closing even with gloves, suitable for storing radios, flashlights, tools, and other personal items. The trousers have double-layer reinforcement at the knees and seat, Velcro waist tightening, and adjustable ankle zippers, along with elastic stirrups to prevent trouser legs from riding up and foreign objects from entering during mountain travel. All key parts of the garment are double-stitched and overlock-reinforced. The overall thermal stability is excellent (dimensional change rate ≤10% at 260°C±5°C), and color fastness to light, washing, and rubbing meets standards, suitable for repeated field use and cleaning.

Product Details

The forest firefighting suit is made of flame-retardant fabric, offering comprehensive properties such as flame retardancy, abrasion resistance, and breathability. It is the standard personal protective equipment for forest firefighters. In high-temperature fire scenes, the flame-retardant fabric can effectively delay flame spread, buying time for firefighters to evacuate; the breathable design reduces stuffiness during prolonged operations.

It can be configured as a complete set with forest fire tactical vests, helmets, fireproof boots, flame-retardant gloves, etc. Bulk procurement can be made according to team size, with optional uniform printing (available), enabling a one-step full team uniform upgrade.

Applications

Applicable Scenarios: Frontline operations protection for forest and grassland firefighting, fire prevention patrols, and firebreak construction.

Non-applicable Scenarios: Interior attack in urban building fires (must be configured according to urban fire protection standards), subject to mission command.

Installation Plan

Arrival inspection (verify test reports and certificates of conformity) → Issue according to size ledger → Wearing training (correct donning and fastening) → Inspection and cleaning after each operation.

After-sales Policy

① Warranty is subject to the contract; ② Complete sets can be issued according to team size and sizes; ③ Bulk purchases can arrange arrival inspection and random sampling.
